The eggshell tree human creature was also featured in the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Garden_of_Earthly_Delights#Right_panel[right-hand panel] of Bosch's triptych \i[The Garden of Earthly Delights]. This painted version was recreated by M. C. Escher in a https://www.nga.gov/artworks/54206-hell-after-hieronymus-bosch[lithograph titled "Hell"], and by Kentaro Miura in chapter 306 of the manga \i[Berserk].
