Abdul Qadeer Khan, often referred to as A.Q. Khan, was a prominent Pakistani nuclear scientist and metallurgical engineer who is best known for his role in Pakistan's nuclear weapons program. Born on April 1, 1936, in Bhopal, India, he later migrated to Pakistan after the partition in 1947.
