"City of New Orleans" is a studio album by American folk musician Steve Goodman, released in 1971. The album is notable for featuring the iconic title track "City of New Orleans," a song that Goodman wrote about the Illinois Central Railroad's passenger train service between Chicago and New Orleans. This song has since become one of Goodman's most well-known compositions and has been covered by many artists, most famously by Arlo Guthrie.
