Homi J. Bhabha was an influential Indian nuclear physicist, often referred to as the father of the Indian nuclear program. He was born on October 30, 1909, and died on January 24, 1966. Bhabha made significant contributions to the development of atomic energy in India and was instrumental in establishing the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) in Mumbai, which became a central hub for nuclear research.
