James Douglas Prentice, commonly referred to as Jim Prentice, was a Canadian politician and member of the Progressive Conservative Party of Alberta. He served as the 14th Premier of Alberta from September 2014 until his resignation in December 2014. He was also a long-serving member of the Canadian Parliament, representing the Calgary Centre-North riding from 2004 to 2010.
