K. Alex Müller, or Klaus Alex Müller, is a Swiss physicist known for his groundbreaking work in the field of condensed matter physics, particularly in the study of superconductivity. Georg Bednorz, for their discovery of high-temperature superconductors, which are materials that can conduct electricity without resistance at temperatures significantly higher than those previously known.
