Optical radiation refers to the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that is visible to the human eye, as well as the radiation just outside the visible range. It encompasses wavelengths from approximately 100 nanometers (nm) to 1 millimeter (mm), which includes: 1. **Ultraviolet (UV) Radiation**: Wavelengths from about 100 nm to 400 nm.
