Hilbert's axioms refer to a set of axiomatic foundations for geometry proposed by the mathematician David Hilbert in his influential work "Foundations of Geometry" (originally published in 1899). Hilbert aimed to provide a more rigorous and complete framework for Euclidean geometry than what was offered in Euclid's Elements.
