PWB/UNIX, or "Programmer's Workbench UNIX," is an early version of the UNIXoperating system that was developed at Bell Laboratories. PWB was created in the 1970s asa variant of the original UNIX system, with a focus on providing tools and utilities that would enhance programming productivity.
