For employers, the practical challenge is finding, hiring and keeping the right Emirati talent. MoHRE has urged firms to use the Nafis platform, which connects businesses with qualified Emirati job seekers across a wide range of specialisations.

A few principles help companies build real, lasting results:

* \b[Plan early.] Waiting until the final weeks before a deadline limits your choices and increases the risk of rushed hiring.
* \b[Hire for genuine roles.] Positions should offer real responsibility and career growth, not token titles.
* \b[Invest in retention.] Mentoring, training and clear progression paths keep Emirati employees engaged for the long term.
* \b[Review contracts regularly.] Salary minimums and classifications change, so payroll and HR teams need to stay current.

Companies that treat Emiratisation as a talent strategy rather than a compliance exercise tend to see the best results in performance and morale.
