Elon Lindenstrauss is an Israeli mathematician known for his contributions to the fields of ergodic theory, topological dynamics, and number theory. He was awarded the Fields Medal in 2010, which is one of the highest honors in mathematics, often referred to as the "Nobel Prize of Mathematics."
