Gunnar Randers is a Norwegian researcher and author, best known for his work in the field of sustainability and systems thinking. He is one of the original authors of the influential report "The Limits to Growth," which was published in 1972 by the Club of Rome. This report used computer modeling to explore the consequences of exponential growth in population, industrialization, pollution, food production, and resource depletion on the planet's ecological systems.
