Henri Delannoy (1900-1993) was a French mathematician known for his contributions to the field of combinatorics and graph theory. One of his most notable contributions is the concept of "Delannoy numbers," which count the number of ways to travel from the top-left corner of a grid to the bottom-right corner using only right and upward moves, or right and downward moves.
