The International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) is a research institute located in Trieste, Italy, that aims to foster the growth of advanced studies and research in the field of theoretical physics and related areas. Established in 1964, ICTP was founded by the physicist Abdus Salam, who later received the Nobel Prize for his contributions to theoretical physics.
