 2-adic metric

The 2-adic metric is $d_2(x,y)=|x-y{|}_2$, where $|x{|}_2=2^{-v_2(x)}$ for $x\ne 0$ and $|0{|}_2=0$. Closeness means divisibility of the difference by a large power of two.
