 Aberration-corrected transmission electron microscopy

Electron microscopy with optical correctors compensating selected lens aberrations. Multipole correctors can reduce spherical-aberration blur and permit finer probes or improved image transfer. Resolution still depends on chromatic effects, source properties, stability, specimen scattering and damage.
