 Affine scheme

An affine scheme is a scheme isomorphic to $\mathrm{Spec}A$ for some commutative ring $A$. Homomorphisms $A\to B$ correspond contravariantly to morphisms $\mathrm{Spec}B\to \mathrm{Spec}A$.
