Thermal crossing of a nucleation barrier $F^{\ast }$ has rate proportional to $e^{-F^{\ast }/(k_{B}T)}$ and mean waiting time proportional to $e^{F^{\ast }/(k_{B}T)}$, up to a kinetic prefactor.
