 Beta set of a partition

For $m\ge \ell (\lambda )$, a beta set isA hook of length $h$ corresponds to a bead $b$ and an empty position $b-h$; moving the bead to that gap removes a rim hook of length $h$, rather than the anchored ordinary hook of a Young diagram.
