 Cyclic ordering

A cyclic ordering of a finite ground set records its elements around an oriented circle, identifying permutations that differ by rotation. There are $(n-1)!$ such orderings for $n\ge 1$. A uniformly random permutation induces a uniformly random cyclic ordering.
