 Distributional learning

Learning from patterns of occurrence, covariation or sequential dependence in experience. A behavioural result can constrain which regularities were learned without uniquely identifying whether the mechanism used associations, stored chunks or hypothesis testing. Distributional information can be exploited by a general algorithm operating over specialised representations.
