 Intertwiner

An intertwiner between group representations $\rho$ on $V$ and $\sigma$ on $W$ is a linear map $A:V\to W$ satisfying $A\rho (x)=\sigma (x)A$ for every group element. The Schur lemma controls these maps between irreducible representations.
