 Inverse image sheaf

The inverse image sheaf $f^{-1}\mathcal{E}$ is the sheaf associated with the presheaf whose sections near $U\subseteq X$ are obtained as a colimit of $\mathcal{E}(V)$ over open sets $V\supseteq f(U)$.
