 Lying-over theorem

If $A\subseteq B$ is an integral extension, then every prime ideal $\mathfrak{p}$ of $A$ is the contraction of a prime ideal $\mathfrak{q}$ of $B$. Thus the contraction map $\mathrm{Spec}B\to \mathrm{Spec}A$ is surjective.
