 Modular function

A modular function of weight $k$ for a subgroup $\Gamma \le S{L}_2(\mathbb{Z})$ is a meromorphic function on the complex upper half-plane that satisfiesfor $\gamma =\left(\begin{array}{cc}a& b\\ c& d\end{array}\right)\in \Gamma$ and is meromorphic at every cusp.
