 One-dimensional Sobolev representative

Every element of $W^{1,p}(a,b)$ for $1\le p<\infty$ has an absolutely continuous representative. Its ordinary derivative exists almost everywhere, equals its weak derivative, and belongs to $L^p(a,b)$.
