 QCD theta angle

The physical QCD theta angle is $\bar{\theta }={\theta }_{\mathrm{QCD}}+\arg \det (M_u{M}_d)$. An anomalous chiral quark rotation shifts the two terms oppositely, so only their sum is invariant.
