 Quantum pressure of a condensate

The density-gradient contribution to the real stationary condensate equation after writing $\psi =\sqrt{\rho }{e}^{i\varphi }$. Neglecting it gives the bulk Thomas–Fermi density relation, but fails near a depleted interface or a vortex core.
