 Rellich-Kondrachov compactness theorem

On a bounded Lipschitz domain $\Omega \subset {\mathbb{R}}^d$, the Sobolev embedding $W^{1,p}(\Omega )\hookrightarrow L^q(\Omega )$ is compact whenever $q$ lies strictly below the critical Sobolev exponent.
