Standard model (set theory)

ID: standard-model-set-theory

A standard model of set theory interprets membership by the ambient membership relation restricted to its domain. A transitive model additionally has a transitive set or class as its domain. Standardness alone does not impose transitivity.
In set theory, the Standard Model typically refers to a well-defined and commonly accepted framework that captures the basic axioms and concepts of set theory.
