 Symmetric chain in a Boolean lattice

A symmetric chain contains one subset of each size from $k$ to $n-k$, nested by inclusion. Its endpoint ranks sum to $n$. A symmetric chain decomposition of a Boolean lattice partitions all subsets into such chains.
