JAMA Cardiology 2(10), 1090–1099 (2017); DOI 10.1001/jamacardio.2017.2945. Abstract, Importance and Exposures: comparison of thermodilution with estimated-oxygen-uptake Fick output. Full-text identifier: PMCID PMC5710449.
Primary Abstract, Design and Exposures, pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28877293/ : 12,232 Veterans Affairs participants and 3,391 Vanderbilt participants, paired thermodilution and estimated-oxygen-uptake Fick measurements during cardiac catheterization. Analyses used cardiac index normalized to body surface area. Results and Figure 1 distinguish a small mean difference from wide individual limits of agreement.
