 Toric ampleness criterion

In the notation of the toric basepoint-free criterion, the divisor is ample exactly when $⟨m_{\sigma },v_{\rho }⟩>-a_{\rho }$ for each ray outside $\sigma$. Equivalently, the normal fan of its divisor polytope is the original fan.
