Bottom-quark jet tagging
= Bottom-quark jet tagging
<Bottom quark>[Bottom-quark] tagging identifies <jets> compatible with a <Bottom quark>[bottom] hadron, often through displaced tracks, a secondary decay vertex or a lepton within the <jet>. The finite hadron lifetime gives the displacement. Efficiencies and mistaken tags from <Charm quark>[charm] or light <jets> must be <Calorimeter calibration>[calibrated]; a <top quark> itself decays before <hadronization>.
