Kolchin theorem

Every unipotent algebraic subgroup of ${\mathrm{GL}}_n$ is conjugate to a subgroup of the upper unitriangular group. The filtration by vanishing initial superdiagonals then proves that every unipotent algebraic group is a nilpotent group.
