For any algebraic field extension K/Q, including an infinite one, its ring OK of elements integral over Z is an integral extension of Z. The Lying-over theorem, going-up theorem and incomparability theorem for integral extensions give dimOK=dimZ=1. The argument does not require that OK be Noetherian or finitely generated over Z.
