Odor-taste conditioning (source code)

= Odor-taste conditioning

A change in an odor's taste-like qualities or associations after pairing it with a taste. Pre/post odor-only judgments can test transfer beyond the original mixture, while controls are needed for expectation and use of response scales. Such transfer supports learned cross-sensory effects but does not by itself prove a distinct developmental <synesthesia> mechanism.<The acquisition of taste properties by odors by Richard J.
