For the whole paper use $\eta=\operatorname{diag}(1,-1,-1,-1)$, natural units and the usual <Dirac adjoint> $\bar\psi=\psi^\dagger\gamma^0$. The <Lorentz algebra> generators below have the real-generator convention of the PDF, with no extra factor of $i$.
