The stationary Killing vector field is k=∂t=∂v, with k2=−f. The normal to r=constant has squared norm grr=f, so r=r+ is a null hypersurface; there k is both tangent and normal. It is therefore a Killing horizon.
For a static metric of this form, the surface gravity is κ=f′(r+)/2. Since r+2r−2=Q2 and r+2+r−2=2M,
κ=r+3r+2−r−2=r+32M2−Q2.

For the extremal black hole M=Q, the horizons coincide and κ=0.
