Write A=8πG/(3c2) and H=a˙/a. Differentiating the Friedmann equation gives
2HH˙−2a2Kc2H=Aρ˙.
(1)
The cosmological perfect-fluid continuity equation says ρ˙=−3H(ρ+P), so, first where H=0 and then everywhere by continuity,
H˙−a2Kc2=−c24πG(ρ+P).
(2)
Using Kc2/a2=Aρ−H2 from the original equation gives
H˙+H2=−3c24πG(ρ+3P).
(3)
Since H˙+H2=a¨/a for the Hubble parameter, this is the Friedmann acceleration equation.
