For every root, the Weyl reflection is
sα(x)=x−(α,α)2(x,α)α.
(1)
For α=εi−εj, it swaps the ith and jth coordinates. For α=εi+εj, it sends
(xi,xj)⟼(−xj,−xi)
(2)
and fixes all other coordinates. The Weyl group of Dn is therefore the group of signed permutations with an even number of sign changes,
W(Dn)≅(Z/2Z)n−1⋊Sn.
