Take Xn​=Yn​Zn​ and G=σ(Y1​,Y2​,…). Then P(Xn​=n)=n−2, so (Xn​) is uniformly integrable and Xn​→0 almost surely by the Borel-Cantelli lemmas. Independence and EZn​=1 give
E[Xn​∣G]=Yn​.

But the independent events {Yn​=1} have divergent probability sum, so the second Borel-Cantelli lemma makes them occur infinitely often. Thus these conditional expectations do not converge almost surely to zero.
