Set r=r0​x2, Σ=Σ0​x−3S, and νˉ=νˉ0​x2m−3nSn. Then ∂r​=(2r0​x)−1∂x​. Substitution into the viscous evolution of an accretion disk equation, with τ=3νˉ0​t/(4r02​), cancels the common dimensional factors and gives
∂τ​S=∂x2​(x2m−3n−2Sn+1)​.
