The supervielbein is the local frame of a superspace geometry. Pulling its bosonic-frame components back along a brane embedding gives $\Pi_i^a=\partial_iZ^{\mathcal M}E_{\mathcal M}{}^a$, and hence the <induced worldvolume metric> $h_{ij}=\Pi_i^a\Pi_j^b\eta_{ab}$. Fermionic coordinates remain present through their dependence on $Z$.
