The supervielbein is the local frame of a superspace geometry. Pulling its bosonic-frame components back along a brane embedding gives ${\Pi }_i^a={\partial }_i{Z}^{\mathcal{M}}{E}_{\mathcal{M}}{}^a$, and hence the induced worldvolume metric $h_{ij}={\Pi }_i^a{\Pi }_j^b{\eta }_{ab}$. Fermionic coordinates remain present through their dependence on $Z$.
