A family (Aα,n​)α<ω1​,n<ω​ whose row at α partitions (α,ω1​) and whose fixed-column cells are pairwise disjoint. Choose injections eβ​:β→ω and put Aα,n​={β>α:eβ​(α)=n}. This gives a matrix used to split stationary sets into many stationary pieces.
