Reduction modulo (3+2) identifies Z[2]/(3+2) with F7, sends 2 to 4, and sends ε=1+2 to 5. Since 5 has order six and 53=−1 in F7×, the kernel on units is the infinite cyclic group
⟨−(1+2)3⟩=⟨−7−52⟩.
