Izannah Walker was an American inventor and entrepreneur in the 19th century, best known for creating a type of doll that became quite popular. Born in the early 1820s, she developed a unique method for making stuffed dolls with head, limbs, and body parts that were designed to withstand wear and tear better than traditional dolls of the time.
