 Karl Georg Christian von Staudt

Karl Georg Christian von Staudt (1798–1867) was a German mathematician known for his contributions to projective geometry and for foundational work in the field of geometry as a whole. He is particularly noted for his work on the algebraic aspects of geometry and the development of what is now recognized as projective geometry.
