 Standardized uptake value

The Standardized Uptake Value (SUV) is a quantitative measure used in positron emission tomography (PET) imaging to assess the uptake of radiotracers, typically a form of glucose labeled with a radioactive isotope (such as FDG, or fluorodeoxyglucose).
